Frequently asked questions
The questions asked most often before a knitted garment or sock order: working model, minimum quantity, samples, lead time, quality, certificates and shipping. If your question is not here, you can send it through the quote form.
Products and working model
What products do you manufacture?
We manufacture knitted garments and socks. Our product groups: yogawear, sportswear, loungewear, underwear, promotional wear, kidswear, babywear, socks and menstrual products. We do not make only promotional products; as an OEM we produce entire collections for brands. We also produce items not listed here as private label, to your product specification.
Every process from cutting to shipment takes place in our own facility in Denizli Honaz Organised Industrial Zone; our entire output is exported.
What is the difference between private label and full-package?
In both we are the OEM manufacturer: every order is made entirely to your specification and goes out under your brand; we do not sell ready-made catalogue products. Fabric, trims and the whole of production are with us; the difference lies in where the design comes from.
In private label, the product is our production from fabric sourcing and pattern making to manufacturing and packing. In full-package, fabric, trims and the entire supply chain are our responsibility; you provide the design and the tech pack.
Which model suits you is decided together, based on quantity, lead time and how ready your design file is.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
The minimum quantity depends on the product type and fabric choice; the exact quantity is confirmed at the quotation stage. Orders below the minimum are also possible, in which case the unit price rises. For socks, the minimum order quantity is low.
Thanks to our small, flexible sewing lines, low-quantity and high-quantity orders are planned at the same time. For continuously selling items, repeat orders are planned on the same lines as long as the minimum order quantity is met.
What is your production capacity?
In our 8,000 m² facility in Denizli Honaz Organised Industrial Zone (7,600 m² of it covered), with more than 180 employees, we produce 110,000 knitted garments and 160,000 pairs of socks a month.

Samples and production
How does the sampling process work?
You send your design or tech pack to our sampling and development team. If there is no tech pack, our pattern team can prepare the pattern. Proto, fit, size set and pre-production (PP) samples are made at the customer's request.
Sampling time also depends on the fabric and on how much development the style needs; after reviewing your tech pack we share the timeline for your project.
How long does production take?
Lead time depends on the scope of the order, the product group and fabric sourcing. Send your tech pack to sales@hcorganize.com and we will share the timeline for your project.
This time covers fabric and trims sourcing, bulk production, quality control and packing.
What steps does production go through?
For knitted garments: fabric intake, pattern and marker preparation (CAD), spreading and cutting, sewing, pressing, quality control and packing. Cutting is done on a Shima Seiki CNC cutter for precise, fast cutting of the lay.
For socks: yarn intake, one-piece knitting on 132, 144, 156, 168 and 200-needle machines, toe closing, Tecnopea automatic steam boarding, quality control and packing.
Who will I work with during the order?
The same representative handles your order from start to finish. At stages such as sample approval and pre-shipment we inform you without being asked.
If you request it, a detailed report is prepared per delivery, order or product.
Quality and certificates
How is quality control carried out?
Inspection is not only done at the end but at five points: fabric and trims intake, cutting, in-line sewing, final inspection before packing and carton audit before shipment.
Incoming fabric is measured for dimensional stability, fabric weight and stretch; colour differences between lots are checked under UV light and visually. AQL 2.5 is applied in in-line checks and at final inspection.

What happens if a defect appears after delivery?
The case is assessed together with you; the defective product is either produced again or its cost is deducted from the next order.
Which certificates do you hold?
We hold nine certificates: amfori BSCI, Sedex SMETA, ISO 9001:2015, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, GOTS, OCS, GRS, RCS Blended and Vegan.
For shipments carrying an organic or recycled content claim, a Transaction Certificate (TC) is also issued. What each certificate covers is set out on the certifications page.
If your project or brand requires another standard, we can consider the certification process for that standard at your request.

Can you produce with organic or recycled fibres?
Yes. We produce with organic cotton under GOTS and OCS, and with recycled fibres under GRS and RCS.
The fibres we work with: organic and conventional cotton, linen, hemp, TENCEL™ Lyocell, modal, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and bamboo viscose; recycled cotton, polyester and polyamide; as well as polyester and polyamide.
Whether a certificate covers your product depends on the product group and the fibre proportion; this is confirmed at the quotation stage.
Shipping and quotation
Which countries do you ship to?
Our entire output is exported; we ship to our business partners in Europe, the United Kingdom, the USA and Australia.
Our own customs office supports the export documentation; for sea and air freight we work with carriers under annual contracts. If you wish, store assortments are prepared and delivery is made directly to the store.
How are delivery terms and payment determined?
Delivery terms determine where responsibility for freight and insurance passes between you and us; they are agreed together in the quotation for each order. Export documentation is prepared by our in-house customs department.
Payment is in two parts: an advance payment on order confirmation and the balance before shipment. The proportions are confirmed at the quotation stage.
What information is needed for a quotation?
A tech pack and a target quantity are enough. If you do not have a tech pack, it also helps to describe the product type, fabric preference, size range and details such as print or embroidery; lead time, target market and certification requirements make the quotation more precise.
We reply with a price, a sample plan and a lead time plan.
Questions by product group
Questions specific to the production of each product group; scope, fabric, certificates and examples are on the group's own page.
Yogawear
How does private label yogawear production start?
It starts with a product brief, a target list of pieces and an estimated quantity. We prepare the fabric and pattern proposal, and production is planned after sample approval. If your tech pack is ready, we go straight to the sampling stage.
Which fabrics are used for yoga leggings?
Fine-gauge knitted fabrics with high elastane content. Synthetic-based options use polyamide or polyester, including their recycled versions; designs that call for a cotton handle use blends of organic cotton, modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell. The stretch and recovery of the fabric are measured at intake.
Can yogawear made with recycled fibre be certified?
Yes. Recycled content is within the scope of our GRS and RCS scope certificates; if you state the standard and the label level in your order, a Transaction Certificate is issued for the shipment.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The quantity threshold depends on the product type and the chosen fabric and is confirmed at the quotation stage. Orders below the stated quantity are also possible; the unit price changes accordingly.
What difference does flatlock stitching make in yogawear?
A flatlock seam lies flat and leaves no raised seam allowance on the surface in contact with the skin. This is why it is preferred for close-fitting pieces such as leggings and bras; the seam type is decided together with the design.
Sportswear
Which technical functions are possible in sportswear fabrics?
Moisture management, quick drying and a cool feel are functions planned at the fabric sourcing stage. How the fabric behaves is seen at the sampling stage; every incoming lot is measured at intake for dimensional stability and stretch.
Which prints and logos are applied in-house?
We carry out print applications such as transfer printing and pad printing in our own facility; our GRS scope certificate lists sewing and printing as in-house processes. We also offer solutions for other printing and decoration needs. Colour differences between lots are checked under UV light and by eye.
How is a product made with recycled polyester certified?
Recycled content is within the scope of our GRS and RCS scope certificates. You state the standard and the label level in your order, and a Transaction Certificate is issued for the shipment.
How is quality control carried out?
Five-stage in-house control: fabric and trim intake, cutting, in-line control on the sewing line, final inspection before packing and carton inspection before shipment. AQL 2.5 is applied in in-line checks and at final inspection.
Loungewear
How do we order GOTS certified loungewear?
You state GOTS and the label level in writing in your order ("Organic" at least 95%, "Made With Organic" at least 70% certified organic fibre). Our scope certificate shows our authorisation to produce; a Transaction Certificate is issued for your shipment.
What is the difference between modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell?
Both are regenerated cellulose fibres made from wood pulp through a chemical process. Modal is made mainly from beech wood by a method similar to viscose and is very soft; lyocell is made in a closed-loop solvent process, gives a smooth surface and is stronger when wet. Both are described on the fibres page.
How is size consistency after washing ensured?
Every incoming fabric lot is measured for shrinkage and dimensional stability to washing; the pattern is planned around these values. An independent laboratory report can also be obtained on request.
Is store-by-store packing possible?
Yes. Store assortments are prepared, and products are packed and shipped ready to go straight onto the store shelf.
Can we re-order a continuously selling item?
Yes. Thanks to small, flexible sewing lines, repeat orders for continuously selling products are planned on the same lines as long as the minimum order quantity is met.
Underwear
What is the difference between OEKO-TEX Class I and Class II in underwear?
Class I has the strictest limit values of the standard and is designed for baby products up to 36 months; in our certificate, baby products, period underwear and absorbent men's underwear for light incontinence are in this class. Class II is for everyday products in direct contact with the skin; underwear is tested in this class.
Do you produce underwear with an absorbent layer?
Yes. Period underwear and absorbent men's underwear for light incontinence are within the scope of our OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class I certificate; the layer construction is developed together with the product and approved on the sample.
Which fabrics are suitable for underwear?
Cotton and organic cotton are the base fibres; modal and TENCEL™ Lyocell blends add softness and a small share of elastane provides stretch. The fabric is a fine-gauge knit and is measured at intake for stretch and dimensional stability.
Can we set up a continuous supply programme?
Yes. For never-out-of-stock products, repeat orders are planned on the same lines and to the same quality standard as long as the minimum order quantity is met; small, flexible sewing lines make this possible.
How are labelling and packing handled?
The product carries your brand's label; label, swing tag and pack type are specified in the tech pack. Store-by-store packing and assortment preparation are possible.
Promotional Wear
What information is needed for a corporate order?
Product type and quantity, size breakdown, colour reference, print file and print area, label and packing preference. A sample is prepared from these; production is planned after approval.
Which printing methods are done in-house?
We carry out print applications such as transfer printing and pad printing in our own facility; our GRS scope certificate lists sewing and printing as in-house processes. We also offer solutions for embroidery and other decoration needs; fabrics are selected to suit printing and embroidery.
How is colour consistency maintained between lots?
The colour of every incoming fabric lot is checked under UV light and visually and compared with previous lots.
Which social compliance certificates do you hold?
Our facility has passed an amfori BSCI audit and is registered on the Sedex platform with a four-pillar SMETA audit. Current audit reports are shared on request.
Can children's and adult sizes be in the same order?
Yes. In corporate collections such as visitor souvenirs, children's and adult sizes are planned together with the same fabric and print; we also work this way in licensed product manufacturing.
How is delivery planned for high-volume orders?
Delivery is planned stage by stage: fabric intake, cutting, sewing, printing and packing are each scheduled separately, and the order has the same contact person from start to finish. Lead time depends on the scope of the order, the product group and fabric sourcing. Send your tech pack to sales@hcorganize.com and we will share the timeline for your project.
Kidswear
Which OEKO-TEX class applies to kidswear?
Children's products above 36 months are tested under our Class II certificate. Baby products up to 36 months require Class I; we hold a separate certificate for this, described on the babywear page.
How is the safety of small trims checked?
Snaps, buttons and similar small trims undergo strength testing; trims are chosen according to children's clothing safety requirements and recorded in the tech pack.
Can kidswear be produced with organic or recycled fibre?
Yes. Kidswear is within the scope of our GOTS and OCS/GRS/RCS scope certificates; if you state the standard and the label level in your order, a Transaction Certificate is issued for the shipment.
How is the size range determined?
We develop patterns with size charts suited to the European market; if you have your own size chart, we work to it. The size breakdown is agreed together at the order stage.
Do you produce licensed children's products?
Yes. For licensed products made with the brand owner's approval, we produce children's and adult sizes together; colour accuracy and print consistency are held to the licensor's reference.
Babywear
What does OEKO-TEX Class I mean for babywear?
It is the strictest set of limit values in the standard; baby and toddler products up to 36 months are tested in this class. In our certificate, baby products are in this class. Products such as socks and everyday clothing are covered by our Class II certificate; the two should not be confused.
How do we order GOTS certified babywear?
You state GOTS and the label level in writing in your order ("Organic" at least 95%, "Made With Organic" at least 70% certified organic fibre). Our scope certificate covers babywear; a Transaction Certificate is issued for your shipment.
How are seams and labels planned for a baby's skin?
Seams are planned outward-facing or flat so that the seam allowance does not bother the skin; the label position and type are specified in the tech pack. These details are checked together at sample approval.
Can we start with a small quantity?
Yes. Planning is suited to small first orders; the quantity threshold is confirmed at the quotation stage according to product type and fabric. As the collection grows, repeat orders are planned with the same pattern and fabric.
Are snaps and trims tested?
Yes. Snaps and trims undergo strength testing and the results are recorded in the tech pack. Trims are chosen according to babywear safety requirements.
Socks
How does private label sock production work?
It starts with the sock type, size breakdown, colour and pattern details; yarn choice and knitting plan come from us, and production is planned after sample approval. The product carries your brand's label and packaging. Packaging options: header card (sewn or fastened with a tagging pin), sleeve and box.
How are the socks boarded?
On a Tecnopea automatic steam boarding machine. Socks on forms are steamed, pressed and passed through a heated tunnel; robotic arms then take them off the forms and stack them on a conveyor belt, so every pair comes out with the same shape and dimensions.
Why is the toe closed without a separate sewing step?
The toe is closed automatically on the machine while the sock is being knitted, joined stitch by stitch; there is no separate sewing step. As a result no thick seam ridge forms at the toe, and the result is repeatable from pair to pair.
What does the needle count mean?
Our machines have 132, 144, 156, 168 and 200 needles. The needle count determines how dense the knit is: a lower count gives a thicker, fuller sock, a higher count a finer, denser one. It is chosen together according to the product type.
Can socks be produced with recycled polyamide?
Yes. Recycled polyamide is used in our socks and is registered at the Blended level for the sock product group in our RCS certificate; if specified in the order, a Transaction Certificate is issued for the shipment.
Which OEKO-TEX class applies to socks?
Class II. Everyday products in direct contact with the skin are tested in this class, and socks are within this scope in our certificate. Class I is only for baby products and the two underwear products listed in the certificate.
Do you produce kids' socks?
Yes. In children's sizes, with the same automatic toe closing and Tecnopea automatic steam boarding as adult socks; the size range is decided together at the order stage.
Menstrual Wear
How does sampling work for menstrual products?
It starts with the product type, size breakdown, fabric and colour preferences; patterns and samples are prepared in our facility. Proto, fit, size set and PP samples are prepared according to the customer's request; production is planned after sample approval.
How are the fabric and absorbent layer selected?
The outer fabric, inner surface and absorbent layer structure are selected together according to the product type and the brand's tech pack. We source the fabric and layer materials and turn them into the finished product; the selection is tested and approved at the sample stage.
What colour and pattern options are there?
Fabric colour, pattern, lace and waistband details are set according to your brand. Colour differences between lots are checked under UV light and by eye.
Can labels and packaging be specific to our brand?
Yes. The product goes out with your brand's label, care instructions and packaging; packaging options are agreed together at the order stage.
Which certificates apply to menstrual products?
Our company's certificates are listed on this page. Certificate scope varies by product group and order; for menstrual products the scope is confirmed separately before the order is placed.
Which markets do you ship to?
We ship to Europe, the United Kingdom, the USA and Australia; the shipping plan is set up for each order.
