Certifications
For each certificate we set out what it covers and which products it applies to at HC Organize Tekstil.
Social compliance audits
Independent auditors inspect working conditions on site at the facility. An audit is not a certificate but a record of the audit day; it is renewed when it expires.
amfori BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)
amfori BSCI: The social compliance audit that amfori members apply to their suppliers. Working conditions, wages, working hours and occupational safety are audited on site by an independent auditor.
Our facility has passed the amfori BSCI audit. We share the current audit report on request.
Sedex SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)
Sedex SMETA: The ethical trade audit of the Sedex platform. It is carried out as a two-pillar or four-pillar audit; the four-pillar audit also covers the environment and business ethics.
Our audit was carried out as a four-pillar audit and our facility is registered on the Sedex platform.
Labour standards
Working hours, wages, contracts and freedom of association.
Health and safety
Facility safety, equipment, training and accident records.
Environment
Waste, chemical management, water and energy consumption.
Business ethics
Bribery, conflicts of interest and fair trade practices.
Quality management
It certifies not the product but the system that manages quality.
ISO 9001:2015 (Quality management system)
ISO 9001:2015: Certifies that a quality management system is in place and audited regularly: processes, responsibilities, records and continual improvement.
Scope in the certificate: production and sale of underwear and outerwear, socks, home textiles and fabric products. Our current production is knitted garments and socks.
Product and raw material certificates
Standards that certify the content and safety of the product. Content certificates show the facility's authorisation; the goods shipped are certified by a Transaction Certificate.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (Class I and Class II, two separate certificates)
OEKO-TEX Standard 100: A test for harmful substances: it verifies that the finished product and all its components comply with limit values set for human health. The limit values are divided into classes according to how close to the skin the product is worn.
Class I
The strictest limit values of the standard. Products for babies and toddlers up to 36 months are tested in this class.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
GOTS: Covers all processing of organic fibre after the field, including chemical use, wastewater and social criteria. The "Organic" label requires at least 95% certified organic fibre, the "Made With Organic" label at least 70%.
The scope of our certificate covers women's, men's, children's and unisex clothing, babywear, dyed and undyed fabric and worn accessories. Our socks are registered at the "Made With Organic" level.
OCS Blended (Organic Content Standard)
OCS Blended: Verifies the proportion of organic fibre in the product and its traceability from raw material to finished product. The Blended label is for at least 5% organic content.
Our OCS, GRS and RCS certificates are held under a single scope certificate. Its scope covers women's, men's, children's and unisex clothing and fabric; many product groups, socks included, are registered as OCS Blended.
GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
GRS: Verifies recycled content and its traceability, and adds social, environmental and chemical criteria for production.
Held under the same scope certificate as OCS and RCS. Sock knitting, sewing and printing (transfer and pad printing) are done in our facility; dyeing, pre-treatment, washing and finishing are done by subcontractors named in the certificate, who are also within its scope.
RCS Blended (Recycled Claim Standard)
RCS Blended: Verifies recycled content and its traceability from raw material to finished product. The Blended label is for at least 5% recycled content.
Held under the same scope certificate as OCS and GRS; many product groups, socks included, are registered as RCS Blended.
Blended and 100 label levels
Under OCS and RCS, the label depends on the proportion of organic or recycled fibre in the product. The product groups in our certificate are registered at the Blended level; the product's proportion is stated on its label.

Scope certificate and Transaction Certificate
The distinction buyers most often confuse: having goods produced under certification and receiving certified goods are shown by two separate documents.

Scope certificate
Shows the facility's authorisation to produce under GOTS, OCS, GRS or RCS. Our content certificates are of this type.

Order
When placing the order, you state in writing which standard and which label you want production to follow; raw materials and the chain are set up accordingly.

Transaction Certificate
Issued by the certification body for a shipment; it shows that the goods in that shipment are certified. It is not issued unless requested.
Vegan
Vegan: Certifies that no substances of animal origin are used in the product.
We also produce items beyond these. For products outside the certificate scope, certification status is confirmed before the order.
